Hit The Slopes Faster This Winter With OnePassNZ!

Hit The Slopes Faster This Winter With OnePassNZ!

The ultimate pass with everything you need to enjoy the best skiing and snowboarding action that New Zealand has to offer has finally landed.

OnePassNZ has been launched in time for snow-mad sports enthusiasts to enjoy the best winter on the slopes they’ve ever had!

The interchangeable pass - created by independent ski field operators at Cardrona Alpine Resort, Treble Cone, Snowpark, Snowfarm, Ohau, Mt Dobson, Roundhill and the Porters Ski Area - allows skiers and snowboarders unlimited access to the partner ski areas, giving them unprecedented access to a massive 2230 hectares of lift-serviced terrain.

OnePassNZ can also be used to hire gear and take ski and snowboarding lessons, meaning those members of the family keen to join in and discover the thrills and spills on the snow don’t have to miss out.

Cardrona Marketing Manager Nadia Ellis says OnePassNZ is the only thing keen skiers and snowboarders need for a fun-filled, action-packed holiday.

“OnePassNZ has been created to give people ultimate flexibility and freedom of choice, and means they can enjoy all eight ski fields in the partnership throughout the winter, or just one of them – the choice is theirs!”

Ms Ellis says she knows all too well the frustration of planning a week of skiing at a particular mountain, only to get there and discover the weather has closed in and conditions are bleak.

“We all know that you can never predict the weather, and OnePassNZ means that you’re not tied to one spot, making it the ideal solution if the weather has closed in at one mountain and you want to move elsewhere where the conditions are ideal,” says Ms Ellis.

Plus, once a day carving up the slopes is over, OnePassNZ can be used at bars and restaurants in the surrounding areas or for taking in some more action at a raft of other local adrenalin-packed tourist attractions.

“The only thing that anyone planning to hit the slopes in mid-Canterbury, Queenstown, Wanaka or the McKenzie District needs this winter is their OnePassNZ loaded up with snow dollars,” says Ms Ellis. “You don’t even need to bring any gear, just plenty of energy for a great time.”

OnePassNZ gives visitors access to the best skiing and snowboarding the country has to offer, including the longest runs in the South Island at over 4kms, the only two permanent superpipes in New Zealand and the most comprehensive children’s programmes and facilities.
