Book Your Next Adventure – Travel Expo 2012 Is Here

Demand for international travel from New Zealand continues to grow as latest figures from Statistics New Zealand show that New Zealand residents departed on almost 10% more overseas trips in November 2011 compared to the same month of the previous year.

To help Kiwis plan and book, New Zealand’s largest travel show, Travel Expo, is being held in Christchurch on 19 February 2012. Hosted by Flight Centre Limited, this show brings all travel information together under one roof, with exclusive flight discounts, cruises and holiday packages available on the day.

Flight Centre New Zealand’s executive general manager, Mike Friend, said the demand for international travel is further increasing due to the current strength of the New Zealand dollar against the greenback and Euro and the weather we have experienced in New Zealand.

“We know that Kiwis love to travel and take advantage of the European summer and we believe that there is an even higher demand than usual due to the New Zealand dollar hitting a five month high against the greenback. With exclusive deals available on the day, this is the time to lock in your next holiday.

“Travel Expo is the largest annual travel show in New Zealand and offers information on destinations all around the world. No matter where Kiwis want to go, this is the perfect place to help with the planning. With everything from travel presentations to information about touring, cruising, adventure travel, car hire, travel insurance and more, Travel Expo 2012 is the place for everything travel related.”

Whether you are looking to backpack through South America, jump on board a cruise in the Mediterranean or take a family holiday to the Pacific Islands, you will find what you need here.”

All attendees will have the chance to go in the draw to win a holiday for two to South America, Fiji or Thailand. Customers booking on the day can also be in to win their holiday back for free!
