Firth launches its own
range of Keystone Retaining Walls
Firth is bringing New Zealanders a locally produced range of the internationally renowned, cutting edge Keystone Retaining Wall systems.
For over two decades Keystone Retaining Wall systems have set the bar for excellence, innovation, and technology within the retaining wall industry around the world.
Firth is now re-launching Keystone products in New Zealand to be manufactured nationally.
Firth Product Manager (Masonry) Wayne Taylor says, “Firth is proud to be re-launching this great product. With its elegant designs and exceptional performance, the Firth Keystone® Retaining Wall Range system is easy to handle, and requires no special tools to install,” he says.
“This makes it perfect for the DIYer because it has virtually endless design possibilities and a style that will enhance any landscape and home.”
The Firth Keystone® Retaining Wall Range features four styles: Country Manor; Garden Wall; Sedona Stone and Compac IV.
Country Manor is random and rugged, yet blended with colour and character. These high strength concrete blocks appear as natural stone, but use the latest pin ensured connection technology. The Country Manor system offers an infinite number of wall assembly combinations and this design flexibility ensures that every Country Manor wall will be one of a kind and has the ability to function as either a reinforced retaining wall or a freestanding landscape wall including small free-standing walls, parapets and columns.
Garden Wall has the natural look of quarried stone and comes in three colours; Rockface, Sandstone and Granite. Sedona Stone has a rugged appearance, is lightweight and ideal for finishing lawn edgings, tree rings, planters or raised garden beds. Both styles can be easily built into straight, curved, or terraced walls to fit the contours of any landscape.
Compaq IV is predominantly designed for commercial applications however these large and rugged units are also popular for DIY landscaping applications. They can be constructed into either a near vertical wall or a battered setback option. The fibreglass pin connection system allows for improved connection strength between the unit, geogrid and accurate alignment of each unit.
