AIA New Zealand Appoints New Trainee Distribution Development Manager
AIA New Zealand is pleased to announce a new member to the Distribution team, Ben McQuay. Mr McQuay has been appointed to the new role of Trainee Distribution Development Manager based in the Auckland office.
Mr McQuay is already well known to a number of the AIA team and advisers having spent the last seven years with the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) in management and business development, specifically in the last three years as a Business Relationship Manager. In this role Mr McQuay was required to build and maintain long term relationships with accountants, insurance advisers, insurance companies and banks and it was with Mr McQuay’s assistance and support that AIA NZ was able to build their much sought after AIA ACC combined levies calculator tool.
“Ben is well regarded in the wider Auckland market by advisers and we are looking forward to him working with us and the drive he will bring to our IFA engagement in 2012 and beyond,” says Darrin Franks, AIA’s Head of Distribution and Marketing.
Ben is a graduate of Massey University (Albany) with a Bachelor of Business Studies.
