Paul Bowkett appointed Cloud Sales Manager for Microsoft New Zealand

Microsoft New Zealand today announced the appointment of Paul Bowkett as Cloud Sales Manager, effective immediately.

Bowkett will be responsible for sales of all Microsoft Cloud Services to small medium business (SMB) customers across New Zealand. These services include Office 365, Windows Azure, Windows Intune, Office and CRM Online. Bowkett will also work closely with the Corporate Business Group and Segment, Partner and Marketing Leads to manage and develop the online content team.

“This is a brand new role to New Zealand and across Microsoft globally so we look forward to seeing Paul carve out a new body of work and driving a business that is critical to Microsoft’s future growth. Paul has strong business acumen and an excellent understanding of Microsoft products and business – the internal promotion for this role is testament to his talent," says Jared Pedersen, SMB Sales and Marketing Manager at Microsoft New Zealand.

Paul has been with Microsoft New Zealand for four years in the Dynamics team. Prior to his time in the Kiwi subsidiary he spent eight years in a variety of roles supporting the CRM practice in Australia.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Business from Auckland University of Technology.
