Fujitsu Wins 2011 Microsoft Dynamics CRM Solution of the Yr

Fujitsu Wins 2011 Microsoft Dynamics CRM Solution of the Year Award

Fujitsu acknowledged for innovative solutions that deliver specified business outcomes.

Auckland, 18th November 2011 – Fujitsu, a leading provider of ICT business solutions, today announced it has won the 2011 Microsoft Dynamics CRM Solution of the Year Award, and was a finalist in two additional categories.

Fujitsu CRM Grants Management, which was developed in New Zealand, took out the Solution of the Year Award. The Solution was acknowledged for having addressed a gap in the market with its effective, low-cost CRM that provides end to end management of the grants process lifecycle. It has great potential for developing centralised systems and reducing the compliance overheads in highly regulated industries such as gaming.

As the CRM Grants Manager is within reach of small organisations but also scales to meet the requirements of the largest enterprises, Fujitsu’s CRM 2011 Grants Manager has been well received by a range of companies throughout New Zealand.

It is proving its worth for Hal King, Trustee at First Sovereign Trust Limited, who said: “The Fujitsu Grants Manager has given our business the ability to spend more time on making informed decisions, rather than wasting it on administration and data entry. We can see it will help us further develop our grants processes, as well as managing our venues and mobile regional managers across the country.”

Fujitsu intends to make the CRM Grants Manager solution available for Fujitsu customers globally.

Twenty three winners were announced at the Microsoft Partner Awards, in Auckland on 17 November, across four sub-categories: Solutions, Individual, Partner and Supreme Awards. Fujitsu was not only the winner of the Solutions category but also a finalist in two others: Desktop Deployment Solution of the Year; and the Supreme Award, Small Business Solution of the Year.

Hundreds of people gathered for the presentations at the Viaduct Events Centre in Auckland at which Chris Ichter, Director Small, Midmarket Solutions & Partners Group for Microsoft, said in a statement released by Microsoft: “This night is always very special as it gives us an opportunity to recognise the fantastic work our partners develop for their customers over the year. As usual the high calibre of entries made the judging process very difficult."

Recently appointed Managing Director of Fujitsu New Zealand, Jo Healey, said in praise of her organisation’s CRM team: “Fujitsu New Zealand is absolutely delighted to win this award. Our team is passionate about providing solutions that are innovative and designed to deliver our customers’ specified business outcomes. It is incredibly exciting to have Fujitsu’s expertise acknowledged by Microsoft with this prestigious Award.”
