Gen-i lands Capital & Coast District Health Board win
Gen-i has won a four year contract with the Capital & Coast District Health Board to deliver its telecommunications services. The new deal, following a competitive tender, includes the provision of mobile, fixed line calling, paging solutions, and maintenance as well as a strategic planning partnership to assist the DHB in developing their roadmap to unified communications.
The new deal also brings all mobile services for Capital & Coast District Health Board on to Telecom's XT network.
Ross Edmonds, Capital & Coast's acting Director for Information and Communication Technology, said that the contract would deliver significant efficiencies and cost savings to the DHB. "Gen-i's solution will enable us to manage our mobile and fixed line usage more efficiently and provide us greater value for money over the next four years. We are excited with working with Gen-i to deliver these solutions and maximise our combined IT capability to ensure the DHB maintains a reliable communication system for both our patients and staff."
Gen-i's mobile and voice solution used the syndicated government mobile plan combined with a tailored voice proposal to deliver the greatest possible cost-savings.
