A new vintage of
Sauvignon Blanc marks the start of summer
Sacred Hill
Wines has released its 2011 Sacred Hill Marlborough
Sauvignon Blanc. Brimming with crisp flavours this wine is
set to be a summer favourite.
Marlborough has come up
trumps this vintage, producing grapes of a luxurious
quality. Sourced from a carefully selected range of quality
fruit across the region, the 2011 Sauvignon Blanc is an
aromatically resonant wine with supple texture, complex
flavours and significant intensity.
The 2011 Sacred Hill Sauvignon Blanc presents itself with an intriguing medley of sweet tropical fruits reminiscent of passion fruit, mango and honey dew melon. These intensely fruity flavours flow onto the palate, and mingle with red capsicum and lemongrass to give a deliciously soft lingering finish.
‘’The Sauvignon Blancs are one of the undisputed highlights of the 2011 vintage. Marlborough has produced an intense wine with great length and persistence of flavour. These wines are some of the best produced in years and truly reflect the regions capacity to produce a world leading style of wine,” says Sacred Hill Senior Winemaker Tony Bish.
This
wine is ready to drink now or can be cellared for up to
three years.
The 2011 Sacred Hill Sauvignon Blanc is
available at wine outlets nationwide. RRP
$22.99
