Canon New Zealand and Mazda New Zealand have partnered to support the 300 plus local and international photojournalists and videographers looking to capture rugby’s showcase event for millions of rugby fans around the world.
Mazda have provided three red Mazda3 SP25’s so the Canon support teams can move between service centres that have been specially set up to provide technical support and equipment to photographers across the country.
Mike Johnston, Country Manager of Canon New Zealand, says it’s great that the two companies could join together to provide vital support to photographers to ensure they capture that one shot to make history.
“The cars will be a great help to our support teams who need to be mobile between our service centres.
“New Zealand is currently playing host to one of the world’s premier sporting events and the footage that is captured transports the rest of the world to our doorstep. We understand the value and importance photojournalists and videographers place on their camera equipment which is why we are doing our utmost to provide the support they need,” says Johnston.
