Arts Foundation And Jaguar Announce New Partnership

Arts Foundation And Jaguar Announce New Partnership

*September 2011*

Stunning artistry, bold design, and exquisite craftsmanship are all attributes that are close to the heart of the Jaguar brand. They are also ideals that are shared by the Arts Foundation. It's this meeting of minds and shared values that have led to Jaguar signing on as the Official Vehicle Partner of the Arts Foundation of New Zealand.

Paul Ricketts, Brand Manager for Jaguar New Zealand, explains the partnership.

"Jaguar's passion is to make unique cars that spark the senses. Each Jaguar is made by master craftsmen and celebrates the highest standards in creative design - and it's this Jaguar spirit that resonates also within the arts. We're partnering with the Arts Foundation to invest in New Zealand artists, which like Jaguar, are at the top of their game and push the boundaries of their field," he says.

Simon Bowden, Executive Director, the Arts Foundation, also sees the alignment between Jaguar and the Arts Foundation as an exciting fit.

"The Arts Foundation celebrates artistic excellence and consequently we give awards to New Zealand's finest artists. When selecting a vehicle partner it was clear that the cars should be luxurious and special. They needed to be elegant, have fine lines, be superbly engineered by world-renowned designer. In short, the cars need to be works of art. For the Arts Foundation there was only one option - Jaguar."

As a charitable funding organisation the Arts Foundation provides financial and non-financial rewards to top NZ artists across the whole arts spectrum - including design, photography, painting, film making, and opera. To further support these endeavours Jaguar has committed to make a $1,000 donation for every new Jaguar sold to a patron of the Arts Foundation.
