NEC New Zealand Scoops Juniper’s ‘Partner of the Year - 2010’ Award
NEC’s partnership efforts evident with this consecutive win for a second year
Wellington, 5 September 2011 - NEC New Zealand Ltd (“NEC”) has been awarded Juniper New Zealand (“Juniper”) Partner of the Year award. This is the second time NEC is being presented with this award.
Leveraging NEC’s Global Partnership with Juniper Networks, NEC has been committed to building regional Juniper engineering capability and actively expanding competitive joint service offerings. NEC has achieved Juniper’s "Service Provider Infrastructure Partner" status with Elite specialisation in Advanced Network Infrastructure, resulting in this award being presented two years running – 2009/2010.
Presented at Juniper’s Regional Partners Conference held at Sydney’s Sheraton on the Park, NEC’s John Petley accepted the award for the second year running. John commented, “This has been a team effort and this sort of feedback is really a result of everyone at NEC just getting on with their job with no drama. I guess what we would call customer service 101. I believe there is potential where NEC can grow with Juniper, so I am really excited about where we can take this.”
NEC’s IP Network Solutions (IPNS) team is now taking support of Juniper products to a new level of customer satisfaction to create a real difference with competitive offerings. To support this world-class service for NEC’s customers, NEC’s Technical Assistance Service Centre (TASC), in-field nationwide Managed Technology Services (MTS) team, and local multi-vendor Applications Development team are providing a comprehensive suite of support services.
Ian Quinn, Country Manager, Juniper New Zealand commented at the award presentation, “We really appreciate the value that NEC brings to the partnership. The ability to move quickly, adopt a pragmatic local approach to opportunities, and the general ease of doing business are all really key to the success we’ve had over the last couple of years. I think this combined with continued approach to integrating the best of both companies’ solutions for New Zealand customers should see even greater mutual success in the future.”
NEC is looking forward to future growth with Juniper throughout 2011.
