PwC joins the New Zealand Institute in shaping the future

As the saying goes “there’s strength in numbers” and that’s why PwC is pleased to announce it has joined the New Zealand Institute to improve outcomes for New Zealand.

Both organisations passionately believe in the future of our country and its place in the world. PwC’s Managing Partner - Markets, Bruce Baillie, says the alignment creates a winning combination.

“As a leading organisation in New Zealand it is important that PwC use its skill and influence to assist New Zealand’s progress. We believe the Institute’s programme of work on social, economic, and environmental topics can make a positive difference for our clients and communities,” says Mr Baillie.

The New Zealand Institute is a privately funded think-tank committed to generating ideas, debate and solutions that will improve economic prosperity, social well-being, environmental quality and environmental productivity.
Director of the New Zealand Institute, Dr Rick Boven, says “Partnerships are invaluable as they provide the mechanism for new ways of working and thinking.

Having PwC on board strengthens the New Zealand Institute’s position in encouraging innovation and increasing New Zealand’s competitiveness in the global market place”.
