Kiwis vote SEEK Best Employment Site
The votes are in, and the results show that Kiwis preferred way of job seeking is through www.seek.co.nz. New Zealand’s largest job source scooped the Best Employment Website Award at last night’s NetGuide Web Awards 2011.
The annual event is designed to acknowledge the best of the web and is determined by the public vote of New Zealanders. At a time when there is high interest in searching for jobs, General Manager Janet Faulding says the public vote for SEEK is the best kind of recognition:
"SEEK strives to deliver the most seamless and intuitive job seeking process for job seekers. So when they vote us number one, it's a great endorsement for the value that our site is delivering."
"At SEEK we are committed to ensuring we have more job opportunities available to the job seeker than any other employment site. The team at SEEK is also continually looking for innovative ways to improve the job search experience," adds Ms Faulding.
SEEK recently launched a Mobile Site, enabling job seekers to search for jobs anytime, anywhere and an innovative mobile job application service called Mobile Apply. The first of its kind in New Zealand, Mobile Apply not only allows you to search the 16,000 jobs listed on www.seek.co.nz but also instantly apply for any role.
