Christchurch Company Shows Incredible Growth despite
Hardships
It's never easy to grow a business when the
community you service is having difficult times. This is the
position Beaver Trees and Landscaping was in as natural
disasters affected their home of Christchurch, New
Zealand.
But despite the problems plaguing the region,
Beaver Trees and Landscaping was able to have their best
year ever in 2010, which led to the company winning the 2011
Business Excellence Award for Best Overall Company under 50
employees at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami, Florida, on
August 20.
The 2011 Business Excellence Awards are
exclusively tailored for small and medium sized businesses
and were given in 16 categories, ranging from Best Startup
to Best Overall Company.
Over the last year, the
company has increased its overall sales, hitting $1,000,000
in sales for the first time in company history. This
accomplishment is even more exceptional considering the
state of the economy and a number of natural disasters in
this company's home country.
"This is a very emotional
win and an extraordinary journey these past 5 years," owner
Bryce Robb said, "Many thanks to my coach, Bruce Wilson. Of
course I want to give a big thank you to my wife. This is
just the start of this journey."
The 2011 Business
Excellence Awards are the culmination of the Business
Excellence Forum, this year's premier event for small
business owners and entrepreneurs. The Forum offered a
unique opportunity to discover cutting-edge business
strategies from some of the top entrepreneurs, speakers and
Business Coaches in the world.
All of the speakers and
workshops at the event delivered high-impact and effective
business growth information.
The Business Excellence
Forum and Awards are sponsored by the world's number one
business coaching firm, ActionCOACH. ActionCOACH is in 39
countries coaching 15,000 businesses every
week.
