against breast cancer.”

All proceeds from the night will go towards helping The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation continue vital research for
finding a cure. Each year, more than 2,600 New Zealand women are diagnosed with breast cancer and more than 600 women
tragically die from the disease.
Evangelia Henderson, Chief Executive of the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation, said, “Investments in research and
medical support improve the quality of diagnosis and treatment offered to women with breast cancer. While we wait for a
cure, it is research that enables doctors to answer the questions that affect our survival rate. It is so important to
have the support of partners such as Dove and we are looking forward to this year’s event!”
Over the past five years, Dove, a Pink Ribbon Platinum Partner of The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation, has raised
more than $300,000 through its annual Dove Pink Star Walk and limited edition Dove Pink Range.
