2degrees comes to Tauranga with its 22nd store

2degrees is broadening its retail presence on Saturday with the official opening of its first store in Tauranga.

The Tauranga 2degrees store is the first in the Bay of Plenty region and expands the company’s retail footprint to 22 stores nationwide. Located on Devonport Road, the store will be officially opened at 9am on Saturday 27 August.

In a special opening day promotion, the first 50 customers to bring in their old mobile phones to donate to the Starship Mobile Phone Recycling Appeal will be given a scratch card for a 2degrees credit between $6 and $10.

Other launch day offers, on Saturday only, include:

• 50 Sony Ericsson W200i phones for only $2 each with any top up of $20 or more
• 50 Huawei G7010 white phones at $49 each with any top up of $20 or more
• 50 Nokia C2-01 phones for $69 each with any top up of $20 or more
• Customers who purchase a $20 to $100 top up at the new store will receive a free top up of equal value

Eric Hertz, 2degrees CEO, says he is delighted to be launching the first Tauranga store.

“We’re proud to be opening our first store in Tauranga,” said Mr Hertz. “The Bay of Plenty is an important area and, as well as bringing more new jobs to Tauranga, this store will help us continue to bring the benefits of increased competition - better value and better service - to people living in the region.”
The address of the 2degrees Tauranga store is:

2 Devonport Road
Tauranga
