Optimation appoints Anthony Hafoka to lead new national Consulting practice
Optimation has completed the formal establishment of a national IT consulting practice with the appointment of well-known industry figure Anthony Hafoka to the new role of Manager, Consulting. The national practice will consolidate on consulting work delivered to date in areas like SOA, Oracle middleware integration, and mobile application deployment across multiple platforms. It will also be focusing on the delivery of enhanced consulting services to clients who are faced with continuing pressure to deliver in a cost effective manner and to strategically leverage technology investments. Key areas include cloud migration and integration, and ERP implementation.
Prior to joining Optimation, Anthony was Principal Consultant with the Dimension Data Consulting Services team. His career has seen him progress through roles including Director, IT Advisory at KPMG, Consulting Principal at HP, and Principal Consultant Management Consulting Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
“Optimation is a New Zealand organisation with a proud history of delivering value to clients and it has an exciting future,” says Hafoka. “The establishment of a national consulting practice will better enable the delivery of consulting services that build on the company’s strengths in software development, architecture, and application integration. My background in software development and consulting is a great fit for the current service offerings and future growth plans.”
Optimation’s Executive Chairman Neil Butler says, “We are pleased to be able to appoint someone of Anthony’s calibre and experience in this role as we continue to mature our consulting offerings. Over the years, we’ve worked with clients such as Transpower, Air New Zealand, Vero, NZ Post and the Department of Corrections a variety of strategic and technical consulting projects. With Anthony on board, we are well-positioned to extend both the range of consulting services we deliver and our footprint within client organisations.”
