Giuliana Rancic Handcuffed on Fashion Charges

Media release 16 August 2011

E! Entertainment Host Giuliana Rancic Handcuffed on Fashion Charges

High jinks with E! Entertainment host Giuliana Rancic during a recent interview in Los Angeles has earned Air New Zealand's crazy puppet Rico a warning that he may never work in Hollywood again.

Rico was in LA to interview Rancic, who also hosts the Fashion Police show and stars alongside husband Bill in her own reality show. E! broadcasts to five million viewers in 80 countries.

After Rancic good-naturedly agrees to take part in a game of "playing the roles" with Rico, he arrests and cuffs her on charges of being a fashion criminal.

"You have no rights for being so fashion gorgeous. You make everyone else look like a bush pig. Anything you wear looks too good against you."

Things take a turn for the worse when Rico realises that he may not have the keys to the handcuffs handy - causing Rancic to issue a stern warning.

"Oh Lord help me, Rico if you don't let me know right now [that you have the keys], seriously you will never work in this town again, I'm serious. I will make sure," she says.

During the interview Rico also quizzes Rancic about her 'emus' show, teases a mile-high story from her and asks for her feedback on his pink and white ensemble.

Rico's interview with Rancic is the third from his jaunt to LA - previous guests have included David Hasselhoff and actress Lindsay Lohan.
