Search For Australasia’s Financial Services Luminaries

To mark its 125th anniversary last week, the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (Finsia) is calling on financial services professionals to nominate who they consider to be the most outstanding industry luminaries of all time.

The Finsia Pinnacle Awards will be awarded in five categories: Most Outstanding Industry Contribution Most Outstanding Thought Leader Most Outstanding Woman Most Outstanding Young Professional Most Outstanding Future Leader

Over the next two months, an industry-wide campaign will gather nominations.

Russell Thomas, Finsia’s CEO, said: “With Finsia’s 125th anniversary, it is a year in which we want to recognise those thought leaders, visionaries and role models who have made an outstanding contribution to this most important industry sector.

“We are calling on all financial services professionals past and present to visit www.finsia125.com in order to nominate people they believe meet the criteria.”

A panel of some of Australasia’s most distinguished leaders including Jill Segal, Carolyn Hewson, Annabel Spring, Sir John Anderson, SF Fin, James Strong, AO Cassandra Kelly F Fin, John Green SF Fin, Tony Howarth SF Fin and Brian Schwartz will judge the finalists.

The winners will be announced at Finsia’s 125th Anniversary Gala Dinner on
25 October 2011.
