Cricket Wellington is pleased to announce that Robbie Kerr has been appointed their new Director of Cricket.

Previously Kerr was the High Performance Manager and his new role will see him take full responsibility for the professional game in Wellington.

Kerr will still be responsible for the overall management of Wellington’s high performance programme.

Cricket Wellington CEO Gavin Larsen is thrilled with the appointment. “Robbie has made an outstanding contribution to the organisation’s high performance programme in his first year and he will now have a key leadership role within the Firebirds environment,” Larsen said.

Kerr said he was excited about the role and looking forward to adding value to the Wellington Firebirds environment: “I am passionate about cricket in Wellington and will relish this opportunity to make a real impact on our professional game.”
