Ticket for Success
Women’s Refuge is offering the leader of a New Zealand business enterprise a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn
from one of the world’s leading business executives.
As part of this year’s fundraising campaign for Women’s Refuge, Kevin Roberts, in his 15th year as CEO Worldwide of the
ideas company Saatchi& Saatchi, is offering an up and coming entrepreneur a one-on-one meeting in New York.
The package, which includes flights to New York, accommodation at a New York City hotel and a three hour workshop with
Kevin Roberts in the Hudson Street offices of Saatchi & Saatchi, is one of the prizes in a Women’s Refuge Auction being launched on Trade Me on July 15th.
Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand has worked with Women’s Refuge for a decade, contributing its creative expertise to create high
profile fundraising campaigns. 2011 is the 10th anniversary of the partnership that addresses the shocking incidence of
violence visited upon women and children in New Zealand homes.
Roberts has an international reputation for an uncompromisingly positive, inspirational leadership style. He is leader
of one of the world’s leading creative companies, a widely-published business author, a university lecturer and a
contributor to several sports and social causes.
Roberts has always been passionate about New Zealand’s world-beating ideas, and as he puts it, “winning the world from
the edge”.
“I believe the country consistently breeds people with great ideas. They just need an enthusiastic pathway to help them
turn this brilliance into business success,” says Roberts.
He believes there is no better time for an enterprising New Zealander to be unlocking the secrets for business success
as the country rises from the recession and the impact of the Christchurch earthquakes.
