Macpac provides primary school with down jackets
Christchurch based outdoor gear company Macpac have provided Freeville Primary School children of the hard hit Christchurch suburb New Brighton with down jackets. The initiative was instigated by school principal John Leonard in order to keep the kids warm this winter as many of their homes are still without adequate heating. The funds of $15,000 for the project were raised by Kate Twigg, an ex-pupil of the school, who now lives in Sydney.
