Alison Leonard Joins the Breeze

MediaWorks Radio is pleased to announce Alison (Ali) Leonard will join The Breeze team as the new 10am – 2pm announcer.

Best known for her role as a television judge on Dancing with the Stars, Leonard brings with her a wealth of radio broadcasting experience and is passionate about the music format.

Ian Avery, Programme Director for The Breeze said “We are thrilled Ali has decided to join us and we look forward to having her on-air. With the return of Jeanette Thomas as breakfast newsreader for the station, it’s shaping up to be an exciting 2011.”

The Breeze would like to acknowledge the calibre of applicants for the 10am-2pm position, and to thank Tania Burgess who stepped into the breach at short notice in January and has done an amazing job

An exact start date for Leonard is yet to be confirmed, and Burgess will continue in the role until Leonard becomes available.
