Export NZ Bay of Plenty and BNZ Partners congratulate the winners for their outstanding achievements.

The winners received their awards at a glamorous dinner at Baypark Stadium in the theme of ‘A night aboard the Orient Express’ where guests travelled on the famous Paris to Constantinople line. Expressionist and Mimic Extraordinaire Simon McKinney was the MC and train conductor on the evening.

Catherine Simmons

Catherine has been serving exporters needs in the Bay of Plenty for around 20 years and is a past president of the organisation. Catherine works for Mainfreight International and is recognised throughout the export community as an expert on all things regarding freight and documentation. Catherine is the first woman to win this award and joins past winners including: Rob Jeffrey, Jon Mayson, Murray Hill, Murray Davies, Bob Sievwright, Alan Bougen, Lionel Crawley and Graeme Boyd.
