“No Stock Issues Here” says Honda New Zealand
Three short months on from the Japanese Earthquake in March, it is business as usual for Honda New Zealand.
Graeme Seymour, Managing Director, explains: “Due to fortuitous timing of new model releases being ordered prior to the earthquake we have had enough stock to meet continuing customer demand. With vehicles arriving every month, we expect this to continue.”
“Strong sales demand for the new Honda Jazz, exceeding forecasts, have resulted in some forward ordering for customers, due to the popularity of the vehicle. We have also experienced high demand for the Honda Insight and have taken the opportunity to increase stock for the New Zealand market,” says Seymour.
Internationally, things are looking up for Honda worldwide too, with the international parts supply issue and production capacity resolving itself. For New Zealand this means no current or forecast stock issues.
