SUBWAY® Restaurants announce new stores at Mobil
New Zealand’s largest quick service restaurant chain, SUBWAY® Restaurants have recently announced its plans to team up with petrol company Mobil.
19 new SUBWAY® stores are planned for opening at Mobil On the Run sites throughout Auckland, with many set to open before Christmas.
SUBWAY® Development Agent Mark Hawes hopes this new deal with Mobil will drive customers to both SUBWAY® Restaurants and Mobil and will provide numerous benefits for both companies and their customers.
“The addition of a Subway restaurant to a Mobil On the Run site will turn it into a super convenience complex,” says Hawes “Historically fuel sales increase when a petrol station has a convenience store attached and it’s easy to see why - customers can grab petrol, grab lunch, get a car wash and pick up some washing powder at the one location.”
“In this day and age we are all pretty time poor,” says Simon Parham, Mobil Convenience Retail Manager. “This is a truly convenient option for our Auckland customers and is an exciting option for both Mobil and Subway.”
The first SUBWAY® restaurants inside Mobil On the Run stores are scheduled to open later this month at Mobil K-Rd (Auckland Central), Mobil Royal Heights (Massey) and Mobil Oteha Valley Rd (Albany).
Auckland has seen a notable increase in new SUBWAY® restaurants with seven opening in the past five months including stores in Brown’s Bay, the new Telecom building (Victoria St), Fort St and Kumeu.
