Endace Appoints NZ Head Of Sales
Move Highlights Potential In Domestic Markets
Auckland, New Zealand — June 2, 2011 — Endace (LSE: EDA), world leader in network monitoring and recording, has appointed Craig Betts as head of sales for New Zealand. The move extends the company’s focus on the local market, following Endace’s manufacturing return from Asia to Christchurch late in 2010.
Betts will focus on expanding the presence and use of Endace Systems in New Zealand.
“Craig’s appointment is part of our Asia Pacific expansion strategy,” said Neil Templeman, director of Asia Pacific sales. “We’re hugely fortunate to have an experienced operator like Craig join the team and we’re positive he’ll grow our local presence in rapid order.
“With a strong background in technology sales and distribution, Craig is well placed as we move to grow our presence in the local market. Having recently announced our first Australian partnership with Newgen, turning our attention to home-grown opportunities was the obvious next step.”
Betts joins Endace from the F5 Network’s local distributor Observatory Crest, where he focused on developing channel partners, aligning them to the F5 business strategy and developing key opportunities His previous roles include NZ sales manager for IDATA and NZ country manager for Fuji Xerox Printers.
