Apply For A New Job Anytime, Anywhere

SEEK today launched Mobile Apply, an innovative mobile job application service which is the first of its kind in New Zealand. Mobile Apply not only allows you to search the 15,000 jobs listed on www.seek.co.nz but also apply for positions of interest anytime, anywhere.

Jobseekers that currently search for jobs and receive SEEK alerts directly to their mobile phone can now use Mobile Apply to instantly apply for any role. Using your SEEK account and preloaded CV, applications can be submitted with a touch of a button.

“We have seen phenomenal growth in the number of people jobseeking via mobile phones since the launch of SEEK Mobile; in April alone Kiwi’s notched up 85,000 visits to the site. Mobile Apply aims to meet increasing demand for technology that makes jobseeking more accessible and convenient,” comments Doug Blue, SEEK’s Product Director.

“SEEK Mobile helps jobseekers to look and apply for new a job at a time that suits them, such as during the daily commute or in their lunch hour for increased discretion.”

Two out of three mobile phones currently sold in New Zealand are Smartphones suggesting that the 300,000 handsets already in use, are set to grow exponentially. SEEK is providing jobseekers with efficient and dedicated mobile services that fit with their browsing preferences.
