Newstalk ZB On FM
Newstalk ZB will be available on FM in Hawke’s Bay on 90.3FM from Wednesday 1st June 2011 The Radio Network announced
today.
“A large part of the listening audience never think to visit the AM dial, this change will open up our Newstalk ZB
content to an even wider audience”, said Rebecca Johnson Hawke’s Bay General Manager for The Radio Network.
“Now we will also have clearer reception throughout Hawke’s Bay. I’m very pleased that we have been able to enhance the
listening experience for Newstalk ZB listeners by making this change”, says Mrs Johnson.
“We will continue to offer programming on both the new 90.3FM and the existing1278 AM frequency”.
In making the change, Easy Mix, the station currently heard on 90.3FM, will cease broadcasting and will be available to
listen to through live streaming on line at easymix.co.nz
“Newstalk ZB is a key brand for us, so this is an important change for the future of Newstalk ZB”.
