Consumers better off with a fairer game
TelstraClear welcomes today’s announcement by Communications and Information Technology Minister Steven Joyce.
Minister Joyce has announced that the proposed regulatory forbearance (‘holiday’) is to be removed, thus allowing The Commerce Commission to regulate prices and services on wholesale products for the UFB network.
TelstraClear CEO Dr Allan Freeth says that, as a result of these changes, consumers will be far better off, and there will be a greater chance for the UFB initiative to be a success.
