PMP NZ Limited acquires International Print Limited

Media Release
3rd May 2011

PMP NZ Limited acquires International Print Limited

PMP NZ Limited, the country’s largest commercial printing company announced today it is to acquire International Print Limited, in a move that will further strengthen PMP’s position in the short-run printing business in New Zealand.
The acquisition of IPL, an Auckland based sheetfed printing business, achieves important objectives for PMP as it repositions its business and adapts to an evolving printing industry.

Executive General Manager for PMP New Zealand, Peter Browne, said acquiring IPL is part of the company’s commitment to both rationalise and grow its printing business in New Zealand:

“This announcement is an indication of PMP being on the front foot in terms of developing its business and demonstrates our commitment to invest where appropriate. IPL is a sound profitable business and will be a good fit for PMP.”

PMP is a division of PMP Print, listed on the ASX (Code:PMP). It recently announced plans to move to a new purpose built 29,000 square metre site in Manukau and a new organisational structure.

Located in Browns Bay, IPL is a privately owned medium sized sheet fed printing business and a leading independent in the Auckland A1 offset market. The business will move to PMP’s facility in Vestey Drive, Mount Wellington.
