Samsung unveils world’s thinnest mobile Tablets:
GALAXY Tab 10.1 and GALAXY Tab 8.9
Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 and GALAXY Tab 8.9 to feature the first customised Android™ Honeycomb experience for entertainment and business
Auckland, April 26, 2011 –
Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., the global leader in Android™ mobile devices has announced two new additions to its family of GALAXY Tabs in New Zealand: the GALAXY Tab 10.1 and GALAXY Tab 8.9, the thinnest mobile Tablets available with a sleek 8.6mm design.
Stefan Lecchi, head of Telecommunications at Samsung Electronics New Zealand says, “The New Zealand Tablet market is growing rapidly and now Kiwis have more choice.”
Based on Samsung’s very own user interface implemented on the Android™ 3.0 (Honeycomb) platform, the GALAXY Tab 10.1 and 8.9 offer excellent multi-tasking capabilities, enhance user interaction and navigation and an impressive viewing experience.
