Contractors’ Federation appoints new Northern Region Manager

The New Zealand Contractors’ Federation has appointed James Corlett as its new Northern Region Manager.

Mr Corlett joins the federation after six years with Holcim (New Zealand) where he was Key Account Manager.

He said that he was looking forward to working with federation Chief Executive Jeremy Sole and his team to represent the interests of contractors

“The industry faces many challenges and there is a tremendous amount of work to be done on behalf of contractors but what really attracted me to the role is that Jeremy Sole, his team and the executive council have a real vision of what is required and are very proactive in working towards that,” said Mr Corlett.

Mr Sole said that the role had attracted strong interest from a number of high-calibre people.

“We are delighted that the federation is held in such high regard as to attract such a strong pool of professional and skilled candidates,” he said. “In the end, the mix of James’s strategic focus and technical and industry knowledge won him the day.”
