Colliers International cleans up at RICS NZ Awards

-- Clean sweep of commercial, industrial and retail sales awards --

AUCKLAND, Wednesday 13 April 2011-

Colliers International has won all three awards at the annual Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) New Zealand Awards at Tuesday evening's Annual Global Property Seminar in Auckland.

RICS NZ - which is part of RICS, the world's largest organisation for professionals involved in land, property and construction - announced winners for New Zealand in three categories based on the number of sales in excess of NZ$5m in the Industrial, Commercial and Retail sectors.

RICS Global President, Robert Peto, presented the awards to the following winners of the RICS Property Awards for New Zealand:

* Commercial Colliers International

* Industrial Colliers International

* Retail Colliers International

Mark Synnott, CEO of Colliers International NZ, said: "This is a major endorsement of the work we have carried out to accelerate the success of our clients over the past year. To be recognised as undisputedly the top sales agency in New Zealand is a proud moment."

The awards are based on quantitative measures using data provided by Real Capital Analytics and subsequently verified within the industry itself.

This follows award wins last year at the RICS Awards for Colliers for top Industrial Agency and top Retail Agency.
