BRITZ Strikes New Sponsorship Deal With Auckland Rugby

New Zealand's leading campervan brand, Britz is delighted to announce an exciting new sponsorship deal of the largest club rugby competition in New Zealand.

With more than 20,000 registered club players in the Auckland Rugby Union, Britz is proudly supporting the Premier Grade in the lead up to the Gallaher Shield Final, with onsite presence at matches throughout the season and the launch of the Britz Club Player of the Week award, supported by Rugby News.

Britz Brand Manager, Sharron Clark is pleased to be associated with club rugby, connecting with New Zealand's national game at its most vital grass roots level.

"We are thrilled to support Premier Club Rugby in Auckland, where rising rugby stars of this nation are discovered and nurtured. Club rugby is at the heart of New Zealand's spirited sporting community and this is a space where the Britz brand connects beautifully," says Sharron.

"We look forward to the beginning of a successful and progressive partnership," she adds.

Auckland Rugby Sponsorship Manager, Emily Travers, welcomes Britz to the Auckland Rugby fold, and looks forward to the unique opportunities for players and fans to engage with Britz.

"We're delighted to welcome the dynamic and energised Britz brand into our sponsor family. The partnership will give our club players extra incentive to succeed and will open the door to some great experiences for supporters also."

The first round of nominations and votes for the Britz Club Player of the Week will take place in early April. Each weekly winner will be profiled in Rugby News and be the lucky recipient of a Britz weekend experience. During the season, activities will feature at Auckland Premier Grade matches around the union, with a special promotion planned for the Gallaher Shield Final on Saturday 13th of August.
