Christchurch property briefing to be held in Sydney
Across the Tasman, Australian investors with property interests in New Zealand will be attending a briefing on the
Christchurch property sector next week.
The event will feature the New Zealand Institute of Architects ambassador for post-earthquake Christchurch city Ian
Athfield, as well as representatives of development, residential and commercial sectors of the local industry.
Dan White of Ray White Invest says the briefing will bring landlords and investors in New Zealand property up-to-date
with the state of the property sector in Christchurch.
"They'll hear directly from those at the coalface. Architectural insights into the city in the wake of an earthquake
will be of particular interest to investors, so too the views of significant developers and our commercial and
residential business owners," Mr White said.
The Ray White Group offices hold the largest property management portfolio across Christchurch with 2,400 properties and
sells 1 in every 4 properties.
The group currently engages 260 independent contractors across the agency business in Canterbury.
The briefing will be held in Sydney on Tuesday 22 March 2011.
