Moxie Market is now officially a monthly market with Moxie #2 taking place just a few days before Valentine’s Day – how convenient!
On Friday, 11th of February, the Perc, at 142 Stuart Street, will be filled with locally made, high quality treats for your someone special – or perhaps even for yourself...
Moxie Market will be open from 5pm – 8pm, the day before Dunedin’s hugely successful Thieves’ Alley Market Day.
Stalls at Moxie this time round include clothing, jewellery, one-of-a-kind prisms, eco-friendly lunch wraps, art and baby shoes. With the large pile of applications received, Moxie Market organisers, Diane Whitford and Hannah Molloy, were hard pressed to choose just ten.
“We decided to have fewer stalls this time as the first Moxie was pretty crowded with 15 stalls packed into the Perc and this will give us room to spread out a bit,” says Diane. “We are also keen to offer a variety of stalls each time to keep Moxie fresh for our customers and it’s great that more and more people are getting in touch with us – our waiting list is growing.”
Moxie Market’s aim is to showcase high quality, unusual ‘crafts’ that display the depth of talent there is in Dunedin, in a relaxed and inviting space.
