Hong Kong: Your Digital Highway to China. NZ to Join HK ICT EXPO 2011

The HKTDC Hong Kong International ICT Expo scheduled for April 2011 will be a powerhouse for information and communications technology, linking product and service providers with buyers in this leading Asian trade fair. Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) Australia / NZ Office are calling all interested companies to join the New Zealand Pavilion. The 2010 event featured more than 570 exhibitors from 14 countries and over 28,000 buyers from 136 countries and regions

The Hong Kong International ICT Expo is arranged to help buyers find the products and services they are looking for quickly and easily, enabling more time to be spent on business discussions. Ms Bonnie Shek Director of HKTDC (Australia / NZ Office) mentions, "The 2011 event will focus on the following themed zones: Cloud Computing & Open Source, Digital Living & Multimedia, E-Logistics & Retail Technologies, Enterprise Solutions & IT Outsourcing, Home-grown Innovations, Smartphone & Tablet, Telecom, Networking & Wireless Technologies and Trade Related Services" Ms Shek added “HKTDC will also be offering NZ companies four nights complimentary hotel accommodation if they take up their own space and showcase at this mega event”

For any New Zealand companies looking to tap into Asia’s lucrative I.CT. Market, now, more than ever, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) need to leverage on information communication technologies to maximize their resources and minimize their costs. Further to this Ms Shek says "A key attraction at this event is the SME IT Clinic, a free-of-charge service in which fairgoers can enjoy one-to-one professional consultations with exhibitors"
