Emirates Offers Four-Night Golf Packages
Emirates has teamed up with seven Dubai hotels to offer four-night packages during the world-class 22nd annual Dubai Desert Classic golf tournament which tees off on February 9, 2011 and runs through to February 13, 2011.
Packages are available to Emirates passengers booking flights to or from Dubai.
The Dubai Desert Classic has been part of the European Tour since its inception in 1989. This year participating golf stars include the current champion from Spain, Miguel Angel Jimenez, some of the world’s top players from the European Tour and Tiger Woods from the USA. They will compete on the Majlis course for the US$2.5 million prize fund.
“Launched in 1989, the Dubai Desert Classic attracts some of the world’s most phenomenal golfers. Golf fans travelling to Dubai on Emirates can book our hassle-free packages to make it easy to enjoy the tournament. The Majlis course at the Emirates Golf Club is stunning, with views of Dubai’s iconic skyline from all angles,” commented Russell Sheldon, Senior Vice President, Network Passenger Sales Development, Emirates.
Packages can be purchased through travel agents and Emirates offices worldwide, and include a choice of hotels, airport transfers and buffet breakfast. Participating hotels are The Address - Dubai Marina, Grand Millennium Dubai, Pullman Mall of the Emirates, Novotel World Trade Centre, Ibis Al Barsha, Qamardeen Hotel and Tamani Hotel Marina.
Prices start at US$102 per person, per night, based on double occupancy and a four-night stay. The package includes accommodation for four-nights, airport assistance on arrival at Dubai International Airport, Arabian Adventures welcome pack, airport transfers to/from the hotel by private car, breakfast daily, Desert Classic Season Pass (admission to Dubai Desert Classic on all days including the Pro-Am on February 9), and all taxes and service charges.
Air fares are additional. All passengers, regardless of airfare or class of travel, can purchase the packages in advance of arrival in Dubai. For bookings or more information, visit www.emirates.com/dubaidesertclassic.
