The Warehouse launches Online Debit Payments with Internet Banking and POLi™
The Warehouse has just launched online debit payments as an alternative way to pay for purchases made on its popular online store at www.thewarehouse.co.nz.
For shoppers who don’t have a credit card or a Warehouse Red card, POLi™ offers a convenient and secure way to pay for online purchases. Customers can select their preferred bank account and pay The Warehouse direct, with both parties receiving an instant payment notification, allowing the purchase to be promptly processed.
The Warehouse is New Zealand’s first major online retailer to offer its customers Internet Banking payments via POLi™. Richard Harrison, Head of Multi Channel Development for The Warehouse is very pleased to be able to offer customers this additional payment option.
“Many of our customers would like to try the online shopping experience but don’t have a credit card. Now they can shop online with us in a secure manner with POLi™ We’re excited about the implications - for these customers, it offers an alternative channel for their shopping convenience; for us, it opens us up to a much bigger potential online market”.
The Warehouse believes in allowing everyone the opportunity to “get a bargain” and opening up The Warehouse online to debit payments makes it more accessible to everyday kiwis.
Using POLi™ is easy. Visit www.thewarehouse.co.nz and browse through the huge range, add the items you wish to purchase to your cart, then proceed to the checkout as normal, selecting 'Internet Banking using POLi' as your payment option. In a few easy steps, POLi™ will guide you through the payment process.
The Warehouse joins a growing list of online merchants offering POLi™ such as Air New Zealand, Bunnings Warehouse, NZ Transport Agency, Intercity Coachlines, AUT University, BookMyShow, Dealaday and many more.
