Business Mentors Patron Tower Insurance Launches Commercial Vehicle Insurance Product
The launch of a new commercial vehicle insurance product by Business Mentors patron, TOWER Insurance, one of the country’s oldest providers, means that New Zealand business owners can now purchase a comprehensive commercial insurance package from one supplier.
Julian Lough, National Manager - Commercial Sales at TOWER Insurance, hopes that offering the vehicle insurance policy, alongside the other business insurance packages available, will encourage more people to consider protecting their company vehicles. According to Julian, it is an area of insurance that many businesses, especially when finances are tight, make the mistake of overlooking.
‘Lots of people put it off because they’re concerned that it will be expensive. However, you really need something in place, even if it’s the most basic option,’ explains Julian. ‘Some level is better than no level at all. At the very least, protect yourself and your employees with third party insurance. This is the insurance for when you accidentally run into somebody else’s vehicle or property.’
‘Also remember that it’s not just the other driver’s car you need to worry about,’ adds Julian. ‘If another car crashes into your vehicle and you are both uninsured, it can be very difficult to reclaim the costs involved in fixing your vehicle. In many cases, you will be forced to chase the money through the Disputes Tribunal or District Court. Not something any business owner wants to spend their valuable time doing.’
The new policy, officially named TOWER Tailored Commercial Vehicle Insurance, will provide customers with a wide variety of different options, including Full and Third Party cover.
