Kiwibank Named Bank Of The Year (Again!)
Kiwibank has been named New Zealand Bank of the Year by the prestigious international The Bankermagazine for the second year in a row.
Each year The Banker assesses the performance of hundreds of banks around the world, awarding Bank of The Year in 144 countries from more than 500 entries.
The Banker magazine acknowledged the “challenger” position Kiwibank has taken in the New Zealand market and its significant success in building its home loan business and capturing market share in a very competitive market.
Kiwibank Chief executive Paul Brock described the win as “a very significant recognition of the success of the bank by the international banking industry”.
“This award is endorsement that Kiwibank has made a difference to the New Zealand banking sector and is successful by international benchmarks,” Mr Brock said.
Kiwibank has this year also been judged Best Value Bank in New Zealand (Canstar) for the fifth year in a row and most trusted bank (Reader’s Digest) for the fourth consecutive year.
