Christmas comes early from Turners Auctions

Christmas comes early from Turners Auctions

It’s Christmas come early for kiwi motorists; for the next eight weeks car owners can check how much their car is worth using Turners Auctions’ Price Check service for free.

Launched in July of this year, Turners’ Price Check tool has been popular, with thousands of reports churned out over the last five months. Price Check uses Turners’ sales data from the last 12 months to show the current market value of a huge range of vehicles. To use the service, customers simply enter make, model, sub model and kilometres on the clock. Price Check then generates a report showing both a price estimate for the vehicle, and examples of recent, similar model sales.

The service usually costs $7 per report, but with summer generally being the most popular time to buy and sell cars, Turners thinks everybody should be able to have a go at finding out how much their car is worth, for free.

“As the most cost effective price estimate tool in the car market, Price Check already provides our customers with a clearly illustrated indication of market value for next to nothing, but for the next eight weeks we’re inviting New Zealander’s to use it as much as they like, on us,” says Todd Hunter from Turners Auctions.
The service will be free from Friday 3rd December through to the 31st of January, after which a Price Check will cost $7.
