SEEK Launches New Mobile Site
SEEK has today launched the first mobile job site by a major jobs board in New Zealand. Available for now on the iPhone
and iPod Touch, SEEK Mobile helps jobseekers stay in touch with all the new jobs on SEEK anytime, anywhere.
Visits to SEEK via mobile devices are currently numbered at 34,000 a month and with the addition of a mobile site SEEK's
Product Director, Doug Blue, expects this to increase significantly.

comes to finding a job. We've been monitoring mobile traffic for some time, and over the last year we've started to see

There are now over 280,000 Smartphone users in New Zealand according to figures by Nielson, and this number is expected
to grow rapidly over the next 12 months. With SEEK Mobile the majority of these users can now keep up to date with new
opportunities from SEEK, wherever they are.
"Jobseekers that like to SEEK on their phones will now be able to view the 13,000 jobs on the site with ease. We've kept
it simple and intuitive for users to be able to search, set up alerts, view their JobMail as well as saving jobs they
are interested in to apply for at a time that suits them."
Recent research conducted by SEEK showed that 7 out of 10 Kiwis are open to new opportunities. Now with SEEK Mobile they
can discreetly search and identify potential new roles on the go.
