Sydney, 22 November 2010:
Following its recent acquisition of Vio Worldwide, cross-media asset management and distributed advertising and entertainment content company Dubsat today announced that it has launched Adsend, the world’s most advanced web-based digital asset delivery system in Australia and New Zealand.
Dubsat CEO Grant Schuetrumpf explained, “Adsend has been a very successful part of Vio Worldwide’s business for several years. Many of the world’s top agencies and brand owners in the USA and Europe use Adsend to manage and deliver their display advertising to thousands of newspapers and magazines every day. With our acquisition of Vio Worldwide as part of our international expansion strategy, it was clear we needed to consolidate our brands in order to have one identity with a worldwide service offering. Thus, as of today, our existing Websend brand is now fully integrated into Adsend. We have also updated Adsend to be more advanced and efficient than ever. Adsend takes all the best features and functionality from Websend and improves on them. A new service called Adgate has also been launched with Adsend. Adgate is revolutionising the global market place by providing the ability to integrate and automate advertisers’ and publishers’ existing booking systems, including automating the creation of job tickets and ad delivery requirements.”
Adsend is used by many of the world’s top agencies including M Saatchi, Ogilvy, TBWA, Euro RSCG, Mundocom and Loveurope. Major publishers that use Adsend include News International, Associated Newspapers, Telegraph Media Group, Mirror Group Newspapers, National Magazines (Hearst), IPC, Bauer, the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today.
Christopher Mapp, Managing Director of Dubsat’s parent company Omnilab Media, concluded, “We made a long-term commitment to the industry through our acquisition of Vio Worldwide. Now, with the consolidation of all our web-based delivery brands into Adsend, we can provide our clients with a proven, established and truly global digital media management and delivery solution.”
