No.1 Service wins No.1 contract in men’s fashion

Service at its best is a saying that the staff at Menon clothing store on Broadway in Newmarket take very literally, and recently, it paid off big time! Store director, Praveen Menon, prides himself on always giving a professional service, and he is meticulous in his approach. He was measuring up one of his customers recently for a suit, not realising that he was indeed Jim Doyle, CEO of NZ Rugby League. A frequent customer to the store, Doyle was so impressed with the level of service and attention to detail, that he offered Menon clothing the contract to fit the entire rugby league team with their No. 1’s. “I was stoked we were offered the contract” commented Praveen, “I was just doing my job and the next thing I knew we were signed up to fit out 35 suits. It’s great to have the acknowledgement that comes with winning a deal like that. And the biggest coup, we actually won it off one of this country’s biggest menswear brands!”

Praveen’s attention to detail is unrivalled within the menswear industry and has earned him a reputation second to none. Commenting on his loyal customer base that has a high percentage of repeat customers, Praveen said, “In an industry saturated with contradicting trends and garments of varying quality, I find my customers appreciate honest style advice and they trust that I will help them choose what looks good on them, whether they are looking for corporate, social or casual wear”. In addition to trading usual business hours, Menon clothing offers after hour’s appointment to accommodate people’s schedules. This fledgling company of two years is definitely one to watch.
