Quarterly disconnection and bond statistics
• The Electricity Authority has released the disconnection and bond statistics for the third quarter of 2010. They are available at:

New transmission agreement published
On 11 November 2010, Transpower provided the Authority with a certified copy of a new transmission agreement between it and WEL Networks.
In accordance with clause 12.15(3) of Part 12 of the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010, the Authority has published this agreement. Details are available at:

Strategic management vacancies
The Authority has established three new Wellington-based roles which will not only contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation, but also lead significant development of the electricity market in New Zealand. The roles are:
• GM Market Design
• GM Operations Development
• GM Legal and Compliance

Interim Advisory Group arrangements
Until new advisory groups are established in accordance with provisions of the Electricity Industry Act 2010, the Authority will continue to use a number of the Electricity Commission’s advisory groups. The continuation of these groups is a transitional arrangement designed to ensure that high-priority industry development continues uninterrupted.
