New Zealand Aquaculture Conference registration opens
Registrations are now open for the 2010 New Zealand Aquaculture Conference.
The two-day event in Nelson, from November 17-18, will give delegates an audience with experts in New Zealand’s
aquaculture law reform, China, market development, innovation, research and development and cuisine.
Aquaculture New Zealand chief executive Mike Burrell said the event was a must for everyone planning a future in the
industry.
“New Zealand’s Aquaculture sector has enormous opportunities ahead and the conference is designed to help everyone
working or investing in the industry to take full advantage of what’s coming,” Mr Burrell said.
“The conference assembles a niche group of experts to provide valuable insight into their respective fields.
“Themed Futures NOW, the conference will examine the key elements that will shape the future of New Zealand’s
aquaculture sector, and identify the action needed now, to maximise the potential.
“The conference is designed to cover all that industry needs to know now to provide insight and inspiration for the
industry as it moves into the future.”
Mr Burrell said delegates had registered from all over New Zealand, as well as from Australasia, Asia and the Americas.
