2degrees celebrates Diwali with free SIM offer

New Zealand’s newest mobile network, 2degrees, is offering a Diwali gift to new customers of a free SIM card to join the network for better value when calling India. With the new SIM, customers can call India from their mobile with Diwali greetings for friends and family for great value with the network’s calling rates.

New customers can claim their gift at www.2degreesmobile.co.nz/freesim by entering delivery details and a postal address. SIM cards must be loaded with calling credit before use.

The SIM card will let customers take advantage of 2degrees’ India120 Talk Pack, offering 120 minutes of talk time to landlines and mobiles in India for only $10 – that’s an effective rate of only 8.3 cents per minute.

According to Chief Marketing Officer Larrie Moore, 2degrees’ calling offers to India have been a hit.

“The Indian community has taken to the value 2degrees provides, and we want more people to give us a try,” he said. Current 2degrees customers can buy the India 120Talk Pack by texting ‘buy India120’ to 233.

2degrees is the leader on value-priced airtime for calls and texts, offering calls for only 44 cents per minute to any mobile or landline in New Zealand, with special rates when calling other 2degrees mobiles.
