Residential property management division
Residential property management division established
Leading real estate agency Bayleys
Canterbury has added another division to its suite of
property services – launching a residential property
management and casual letting division.
Bayleys Canterbury chairman Bill Whalan said that for some time now the company’s residential sales consultants had noticed a gap in the market where their clients needed property management and letting advice from professionals.
“To service this sector of the market, the residential property management division was established, with highly experienced property management and letting professionals Lisa IIiffe and Matthew Curtis brought in as the cornerstone personnel,” Mr Whalan said.
“Operating under the Bayleys’ umbrella, Lisa and Matthew’s job is simple – they aim to make the renting process as painless as possible for clients, and take care of letting and property management,” Mr Whalan added.
“Bayleys Canterbury has now become the ‘one-stop shop’ for all property management needs in Christchurch as Lisa and Matthew work alongside the residential, commercial and industrial, country and tourism groups to completely manage the property assets of Bayleys’ clients.”
The new Bayleys residential property management division will manage every stage of the letting and renting process – from marketing the property and finding the best tenants available, through to collecting rent, resolving property management issues, property inspections and organising bond refunds.
Mr Whalan said that the Bayleys residential property management division could advise customers on what areas of town were the most sought after, what areas were the most affordable, and what improvements can be made to residential dwellings to provide the best return on investment.
He said that the residential property
management team had gone from strength to strength since
opening in September – with a busy database full of
clients from Lisa and Matthew’s networks already
supporting the new
business.
